People are writing detailed articles how to modify stock 3.5" PC HD floppy drives to make them Amiga compatible.
My solution is completely different: create a special cable and no modification is required to the FDD itself.
The only thing You need to do is to hide the HD detection hole on the floppy disk with a sticky tape and all HD disks will work in DD mode. Of course DD disks will also work without any problem.

Amiga supports DD drives only: don't ask for a HD mod; it requires oscillator change etc.
